Off-peak discount break-even calculator
Discounting quiet hours is the most common way clubs try to lift occupancy. But a discount also applies to the players who would have booked anyway, so it only pays off if it brings in enough new bookings to cover that give-away.

Formula
Break-even hours = current off-peak hours × full price ÷ discounted priceHow to use it
Start with what you sell today
Enter the off-peak court-hours you currently sell per week at full price. Every one of those hours will now earn the discounted price.
Find the break-even volume
The calculator shows how many hours you must sell at the new price to earn the same as today, and the percentage uplift in bookings that requires.
Test with a realistic forecast
Enter the hours you expect after the discount to see the net weekly change. Then measure it: compare occupancy in the discounted slots before and after with real booking data.
Worked example
You sell 40 off-peak court-hours a week at 20. A 25% discount drops the price to 15, so you need 53.3 hours — a 33% increase — just to stand still. If you expect 60 hours, revenue rises from 800 to 900 a week.
